		<description>I think coconut milk/oil, avocados, olives/olive oil, flax oil should be staples in a raw diet (depending on how &quot;raw&quot; you want to be).  They are good sources of mono/polyunsaturates, EFA&#039;s, vitamin E and other important/hard to get minerals like selenium.  While nuts are encouraged, a lot of &quot;nut oils&quot; are discouraged (like walnuts) because they are TOO HIGH in Omega 6&#039;s (pro-inflammatory)

Unfortunately on the west coast Vitamin D seems to be the major limitation of a raw diet in winter months.  And I always encourage people to eat more &quot;warming foods&quot;; cinnamon, ginger, cayenne... etc.</description>
